We are Viva Events & Catering – a corporate catering & social event service with over 10 years of experience in NYC catering management, delivery, and execution.

Unlike storefront options, Viva Events & Catering is able to dedicate 100% of its time to making food in-house that’s tailored to you and your company. Our drop-down menu always showcases seasonal, fresh, local ingredients in dishes that are made daily.

With customer service that goes beyond being hospitable, our owner, Chef George, takes pride in his one-on-one relationships with clients. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or a full-scale corporate event, we’ll take the time to figure out exactly what you need for each and every order, each and every day. From menu creation to execution and delivery, the Viva team is hands-on and flexible. Let us cater your next event and be a guest at your own party!

We work mostly with large companies based in New York. Most of our clients are Fortune 500 companies (tech companies, law firms, beauty brands, fashion brands, banks, and foundations). We cover their office catering needs (breakfasts, lunches, and cocktail hours) as well as larger events. Besides that, we work on store openings, product launches, conferences and private events (birthday parties, weddings, and anniversary parties).

EXECUTIVE CHEF /OWNER

GEORGE LICHVAR

Chef George Lichvar, Executive Chef & Owner, grew up in the kitchen. As a young boy, he peeled his fair share of carrots and watched and learned by assisting his uncle, a chef, in cooking for their local church. Now, having ascended the ranks from prep cook to Executive Chef, with two decades of corporate dining experience at some of the largest companies in the world, he is dedicated to sharing his vision, culinary expertise, and passion with his clients and the Viva Events & Catering family. 

As the owner of Viva, Chef Lichvar has transformed everyday dishes into delicious works of art since 2012, creating customized menus that are made to order for you every single day.
